Give a Sales Agent a face
Turn one portrait photo into a face your agent wears on calls.
A face is what your agent wears on a video call. One portrait photo is all it takes.
Add one from a photo#
- Open Library · Faces.
- Press From a photo.
- Choose a portrait. Front-facing, closed-lip smile, good light, PNG or JPG.
Read the checks. Bidirection inspects the photo in your browser before anything is uploaded, and tells you what is wrong:
Check What it wants Photo resolution at least 640px Exactly one face one person in frame Face large enough the face filling enough of the frame Facing the camera frontal, not turned away Eyes open not caught mid-blink Mouth closed / relaxed a closed-lip expression clones best - Set the Framing slider — wide head-and-shoulders, standard portrait, or close-up. The box is exactly what lands in the frame.
- Name the face and press Upload & enroll.
If the button reads Fix the flagged items first, one of the checks failed. Use a different photo rather than fighting it — the checks are the same ones that decide whether the result looks right.
While it enrols#
The card shows its state: Queued, Enrolling, then Ready. It takes a minute or two. Failed means the enrolment did not work; delete it and try another photo.
Once ready, select the card to give it to the focused agent. Press Preview to watch the face speak with the agent's voice — exactly what customers will see.
Change the framing later#
Press Framing on a face you own. Zoom in or out and press Re-enroll at this framing. It re-enrolls from your original photo — no new upload — and stays selected wherever it is worn.
Remove a face#
Bidirection names every agent wearing it before you confirm. Those agents answer without a face until you pick a new one, and the artifacts are erased from storage.
If the stage is asleep#
Faces render on a GPU. If it is offline the page says so plainly — everything else in the console keeps working and video calls resume when it wakes. Nothing is lost.
