Quickstart: agent live in 20 minutes
The whole path end to end, with the six screens you touch.
This is the whole path, end to end. Six screens, in order. Everything here is reversible, and nothing is visible to a single visitor until the last step.
Before you start you need two things: the address of the website the agent will work on, and the ability to either add a DNS record for that domain or paste a script tag into its pages. If you have neither yet, you can still do steps 1–3 and come back.
1. Create your organization#
Sign up, name your organization, and you land in the console. The name can be anything; only the workspace URL has to be unique across Bidirection.
2. Scan your website#
Home opens with Run the scan if you have never scanned. Give it your address and Bidirection reads the site the way a new hire would — pricing, policies, product pages — and builds a Business Brain the agent answers from.
A small site takes a few minutes. You do not have to wait on the page; the scan keeps running and reports the same live progress on Home, on Library · Sites, and on the onboarding page.

3. Create the agent#
From Agents, press New agent. Pick Sales Agent if it works on your public website, or Support Agent if it helps signed-in users inside your product. Describe what it should do in plain language and press Draft my agent with AI — Bidirection writes the name, the system prompt and a first workflow from what the scan learned.
Step through to the end and press Create agent (draft). The agent is created as a draft: it exists, you can configure and rehearse it, and no visitor can reach it.
4. Verify your domain#
Go to Library · Domains, press Add domain, and prove you own the host. You have two ways, and you only need one:
- Add a DNS TXT record with the token shown, then press Verify.
- Just install the widget — paste the script tag (step 5) on the site and press Verify; Bidirection fetches the page, finds your key, and verifies on the spot.

5. Install the script#
Open Agent & persona and follow the Integration card. Paste the one script tag just before </body> on every page the agent should cover. No other code changes.
The card turns green by itself when we see the widget load on your verified domain. Installation is never marked done from a checkbox you tick.

6. Rehearse, then make it live#
Open Agent preview and have a real conversation with your agent. Preview conversations never count in your analytics and never require the agent to be live, so argue with it, try to break it, and fix what you hear.
When you are happy, press Make it live on Agent & persona. That is the only step that exposes the agent to visitors.

What to do the next morning#
Home is the daily surface. It opens with a sentence summarizing the week, the decisions waiting on you, and this week's numbers against last week's. Anything the agent captured is on Leads (Sales) or Escalations (Support).
